Welcome. Connect. Care. Belong.
We are the Connections & Special Events Ministry. Our heart is to help every person who comes to Harvest feel welcomed, cared for, valued, and connected. We help guests and members build meaningful relationships, connect to cell groups or Bible studies, stay engaged in church life, and experience a sense of belonging within the Harvest family. We also support the different ministries of Harvest with their programs and special events.
We believe church is more than attending a Sunday service. It is a family where we encourage one another, pray for one another, grow together, and serve God together. Through Connections & Special Events, we want every guest, member, and family to know:
You are welcome here. You are cared for here. You are valued here. There is a place for you here.
"Therefore, welcome on another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God" Romans 15:7.
Connections
Connections Ministry is here to help people move from simply attending church to becoming genuinely connected to Harvest. Whether you are visiting for the first time, looking for a cell group or Bible study, or wanting to become more involved, we are here to help you take your next step.
Get Connected At Harvest
Join us for Sunday worship and experience a Christ-centered community. Sunday service begins at 10 AM. Check out our Plan A Visit page to learn what to expect. We can't wait to see you!
After the service, we would love to meet you, welcome you, and help answer any questions you may have. Let's chat!
Are you ready to dive deeper into faith? We help individuals and families connect with cell groups and Bible studies where they can grow in God's Word, pray together, and build meaningful relationships with each other. You're not in this alone!
Join church activities, fellowship gatherings, ministry opportunities, and special events throughout the year. There's a place for you at Harvest!
Member Care Partners
An important part of our Connections Ministry is our Member Care Partners (MCPs). They help us continue caring for individuals and families through personal follow-up, encouragement, prayer, and staying connected. Our heart is to Connect, Care, and Engage. We connect with people, care for them through prayer and encouragement, and help them stay engaged in church life, cell groups or Bible studies, fellowship, and ministry. Through MCPs, we want people to know that they are remembered, supported, and care for as part of the Harvest family.
Special Events
Our Special Events Ministry helps create meaningful opportunities for fellowship, celebration, outreach, and community. We work alongside the different ministries of Harvest to provide support for their programs and gatherings, including Worship Ministry events, Prayer Ministry activities, family programs, fellowships, and outreach initiatives. We also assist in the planning and coordination of Harvest's major annual events, holidays, and other church-wide gatherings throughout the year. Through every event, our goal is to help create a welcoming, organized, meaningful, and Christ-centered environment where people can connect, build relationships, and grow together as one church family.
Meet Our Ministry Leader
Hi everyone! This is Sis. Lheyn, at your service! I'm grateful to serve as the Connections & Special Events Ministry Leader here at Harvest. I graduated from Advantage College with a Bachelor of Theology, and I was blessed to be the first scholarship recipient of the school. Looking back, it is still one of those special God moments in my life, and I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity and support that helped prepare me for ministry. I also earned an Associate Degree in Computer Design and Programming. Somewhere between ministry, computers, and event planning, God has definitely kept life interesting!
Outside of ministry, I love being present for and supporting my two daughters in their activities and milestones. Family is very important to me, and I treasure the opportunities I have to encourage them as they grow, even if that sometimes means becoming the family driver, cheerleader, planner, and photographer all at once!
I have always had a heart for planning and organizing events. I enjoy bringing ideas together, creating meaningful moments, and helping make gatherings welcoming, organized, and memorable. Give me a program, a checklist, and a room full of people, and I'm happy! My heart is really simple: to help people feel connected, create meaningful moments, and make church feel like home as we continue to follow God's call to make disciples. I believe God can use our gifts, experiences, and even the simple things we love doing to serve others and bring people closer to Him.
